Hudson's Story...

June is Adopt a Shelter Cat Month!

So, will you adopt meeeee??? Hi there, my name is Hudson and I was brought into the shelter as a stray. I will be available for adoption on June 8th if my owner doesn't come to get me. I'm about 1 year old, 7.6lbs and very friendly. I'm laid back guy who loves to stretch out and lie around! I would really love a home with a kitty hammock for me to lounge around in (but it’s not a requirement)! I will need my shots updated and I will also be adopted out on a neuter contract which includes a deposit that will be refunded after you provide proof that I have been altered, which MUST be done within 30 days of adoption!!! If you are interested in me and you can provide a loving responsible forever home please contact the shelter and don't forget to include my ID number!

ALL ANIMALS MUST BE ALTERED WITHIN 30 DAYS OF ADOPTION OR BY SIX MONTHS OF AGE!!!

Act quickly to adopt Hudson. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hudson, a Ladysmith Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Ladysmith, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Ladysmith.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ladysmith already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ladysmith breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ladysmith paves the way for another one to be saved.
