Trixie's Story...
Hi! My name is Trixie. I am a very pretty, sweet 1 1/2 year old female Border Collie. I only weigh about 30 lb right now but am trying to put on a little more weight. I had a mean owner when I was young. I am a bit timid at first because of this. I am doing very well with my foster parents and other doggie companions. I am still shy. I will give you a little kiss on the hand once I know you. I am a very good girl. I am house trained and I love to sit with you. I also am crate trained and like the security of it. I was just spayed the other day when this photo was my hair is shaved on my belly. I really wish and hope for a loving forever home with a person who would take good care of me and be patient until I overcame my timidness. PLEASE don't pass me by. I really would make a great companion for that special someone.
Love, Trixie xox

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Trixie, a cedar grove Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in cedar grove, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in cedar grove.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in cedar grove already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a cedar grove breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in cedar grove paves the way for another one to be saved.
