Novalee's Story...
Novalee was originally adopted from the Humane Society to be part of our Second Chance Feline Blood Donation Program. She is a blood donor and has helped to save many lives of other sick felines. She needs a loving and forever home! Novalee is such a sweet cat. She loves affection, but also requires her daily cat naps. When she is sleeping, she is unaware of the world around her and gets in some good beauty sleep.

Novalee was adopted with a slight limp in her back leg. She has been thoroughly examined and there is nothing wrong with her leg. We have assumed this is probably the way she was born. It does not affect her in any way.

She would do best in a home with older children.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Novalee, a Colorado Springs Japanese Bobtail cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Japanese Bobtail for sale in Colorado Springs, or seeking a Japanese Bobtail cat from a breeder in Colorado Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colorado Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colorado Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Japanese Bobtail breeders who help with Japanese Bobtail rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colorado Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
