Layla's Story...
IN FOSTER CARE, STILL NEEDING A HOME: Layla is a 6-7 month old lab mix. She is very friendly, seems to be good with cats (my cats are difficult test subjects, they aren't dog fans haha), loves my kids and our other dogs She loves to snuggle and is a big fan of romping around the yard. She has been spayed and is up to date on shots and routine medical care. She is being fostered by Katie Woodruff.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Layla, a Yuba City Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Yuba City, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Yuba City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Yuba City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Yuba City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Yuba City paves the way for another one to be saved.
