Sydney's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, and not good with cats.

Sydney's Story...
Sydney is a 90 lb black lab mix whose 7th birthday is coming up August 14. Her birthday wish is for a loving new home with no cats (she just doesn’t get along with them). In fact, she would enjoy being your one and only pet, as she loves people – men, women, and children. Especially men! She hopes someone is looking for a best girl.

Sydney has been a mostly indoor dog, but loves to go on walks.

She loves fruits and vegetable snacks, and can do all sorts of things for a treat – sit, lay down, spin, retrieve and shake (as in whole body). She treats stuffed animals as her babies.

Sydney is up to date on her vaccines and license.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sydney, a Castro Valley Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Castro Valley, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Castro Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Castro Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Castro Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Castro Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
