My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Hunter, and I need your help. In 2012, I came to the AWLMC when my family was having financial difficulties and had to give me up. It took me a long time to find a home, to find the right fit, and when I did it was perfect for me. I was an only pet living in the country with a special retired person. Now my world has been turned upside down again. You see, my person was diagnosed with terminal cancer and given only 3-6 months to live. He wants the best for me, to keep me safe, and asked the AWLMC to try to find me a new home, again. So here I am again. I am a sweet boy, but independent. I like to rub against you and sit quietly with you while you watch TV or read. I will also sleep in bed with you at night. I need to find a quiet, adults only home. If you’ve been waiting for a sign....if you have ever wanted to make a difference in the world, please consider that this may be the time to consider adopting a shelter cat. If the stars are aligned, maybe it will be me. I would also like to ask you to please share the word about me. Maybe I will be the perfect cat for your best friend. I need your love and support. I was born in 2006.
