My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ra and Anubis came from separate homes where each had previously been bonded to females for breeding. Since do not encourage indiscriminate breeding of pet chinchillas without a known pedigree or clear genetic history, we figured these boys would still enjoy the company of another chinnie. So far, they're getting along quite well and make a very nice contrast of colors for someone looking for notably different colored pet chinchillas.

Both are approximately 2-3 years old and are friendly enough. Ra (white mosaic) is inquisitive, but has suffered some serious aversions to handling when his former owner taught him that being held is scary and painful . He is learning to overcome that aversion with proper handling and has come quite a long way! Anubis (standard grey) has not had much handling, but has lots of potential. Both are quite a nice pair and would be an excellent choice for someone willing to take the time to befriend them.

Adoption fee: $150 for the pair.
