Mamasita & Mija's Story...
Mamasita has gone through two other homes where she was originally used for backyard breeding. Her laid back, easygoing nature made her a prime candidate to pair with another female of similar temperament.
Mamasita has gone through two other homes where she was originally used for backyard breeding. Her laid back, easygoing nature made her a prime candidate to pair with another female of similar temperament.
Mija came as a lonely single female. She is still a baby and quite impressionable.
The two girls immediately got along very well where their first reaction to each other was mutual grooming! This very strong attractive bond is the best we could hope for.
Adoption fee: $100 for the pair or $200 with complete cage setup.

Our mission is to provide a safe haven for unwanted, neglected, or medically fragile chinchillas. Our goal is to rehabilitate and socialize in preparation for adoption. We gladly open our doors to those interested in learning more about these unique pets. We are available for temporary foster care, education, supplies, and networking with other local rescue organizations.

Our Adoption Process...
We have a simple adoption contract that includes specifications for the animals well being including a prohibition against breeding our adopted chinchillas.
All come with a generous supply of food, dust, etc. If needed, cages are available for a small fee.

We are a family run, chinchilla specific, small animal rescue in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. People have come from as far north as Pennsylvania, and as far south as North Carolina to adopt, surrender, or donate to our organization.
