Now listen folks……. My name is Arnold Ziffel and I am disappointed !! I have not found my people yet and have not had many people interested in me. Yes I am a pip, sassy, bossy and a little devil BUT I am also adorable, smart, fun and can be very loving !!
The folks who have been interested have been great people for the right dog but I need a special home (please don’t stop reading now that you know I have needs – you may have them someday too).
I am very high energy so I will need to play and run around a lot. Also I need MENTAL stimulation. So I will be a fun kid to maybe do agility with (even in the yard). I need my owner to be the one in charge (with love of course) as I can get a bit “snarky” if I don’t have rules to follow. I am QUICK so you have to be careful that I don’t escape. I can also JUMP very high so you have to be careful if I am in a fenced in yard. When I am outside I need an adult with me.
I am VERY smart and VERY trainable and need someone who will work with me and do so consistently. It a fun thing to do with your kid and it helps us to bond. For some reason I do NOT like most other dogs or cats. So it’s best that I move into a home where I am the only kid. That being said after we get to know each other maybe I could go to obedience class and learn to socialize. I might really like that. Also, my caregivers feel that I should not be placed with young children.
I do love to ride in the car and I can tell you how to get to McDonald’s.
I also know Steve Caporizzo of WTEN's Pet Connection personally and sat on his lap (you can see me on their website). He thought that I was ADORABLE and gave me cookies.
My vet thinks that I am a real sweetie too with a LOT of potential !! Who knows better than your doctor ?
I was born 4/2011 so I am about a year and a half old. All my vetting is up to date and they neutered me (They said I was going to get “tutored”. Imagine MY surprise. Since then I listen much better). I am a Papillion / Chihuahua mix and weigh about 11 pounds. I am very cute.
