Daisy's Story...
Meet Daisy. She is an adult flat coat retriever mix, estimated to be about 6 years old. This precious girl was found as a stray and never claimed. She is a gentle girl and loves people. Daisy is very submissive around dogs and could really take them or leave them. You can tell she loves her human foster sister and other kids too. Daisy is housebroken and an all around great dog. She likes to go for walks and runs. She is perfect when left in the house and so well-mannered. She would make a great addition to most any family. She is spayed, current on vaccines, heartworm negative and microchipped. All she needs now is her FORever family. If you think that might be with you - email us at info@FORrescue.net

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daisy, a Hamburg Flat-Coated Retriever/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Flat-Coated Retriever/Labrador Retriever for sale in Hamburg, or seeking a Flat-Coated Retriever/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Hamburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hamburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hamburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Flat-Coated Retriever/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Flat-Coated Retriever/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hamburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
