Harley's Story...
My name is Harley, my mom is a wirehair terrier, we think the father is a chihuahua (dob 4-23-12). I have lots of love to give and am good with children, cats, and other dogs. I am housetrained, they have pee pee pads down just in case. I love to snuggle and play games; My foster Mom says that I've been a really great puppy. I need a loving, affectionate family who can help me grown into a wonderful adult dog...I hope you are that family!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Harley, a Staunton Fox Terrier (Wirehaired)/Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Fox Terrier (Wirehaired)/Chihuahua for sale in Staunton, or seeking a Fox Terrier (Wirehaired)/Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Staunton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Staunton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Staunton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Fox Terrier (Wirehaired)/Chihuahua breeders who help with Fox Terrier (Wirehaired)/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Staunton paves the way for another one to be saved.
