Lucky was rescued from the West L.A. shelter after being there without adoption. He is NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, AND VACCINATED.

We are seeking a forever home for him. Lucky is the sweetest little boy in the world. He is 2 years old, great with other dogs of all sizes, and loves people. He has also been dewormed and treated for fleas. He is a Maltese mix. An adoption contract and small adoption fee is required.

Please call 310 402-7483 if you are interested in meeting or adopting him. Our adoption application is available on our website for your convenience.

MALTESE BREED INFO FROM AKC: Even though the Maltese is a very small dog, they tend to be brave and without fear. They are one of the most gentle mannered of all little dogs, but are also full of energy and very playful, making them great family dogs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucky, a Inglewood Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese for sale in Inglewood, or seeking a Maltese dog from a breeder in Inglewood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Inglewood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Inglewood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese breeders who help with Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Inglewood paves the way for another one to be saved.
