Dahlia's Story...
6.14.2012- Dahlia, fka Mya at Philly ACCT, is one adorable little girl! She is only 41 pounds at 1-2 yrs of age! She is not only beautiful but she is super sweet to boot! She has faced a lot, clearly before finding herself at ACCT. She had her poor ears chopped off for one and she seems to have Wobbler's Syndrome which was the original diagnosis we thought we had for our special guy Dillon Pickles. Dahlia does show more clear signs of this than Dillon had shown. Dahlia was at high risk for euthenasia at the shelter because of her condition and because the shelter can't afford to really do anything for her. As soon as we saw Dahlia's need for help we got to work and thankfully have the most wonderful foster families in the world so Dahlia is going to get the help she needs with us! Dahlia does very well with other dogs, in fact she sprawls out on the floor and nudges her way over to greet new friends. Dahlia is also a complete ham and feels she is a lap dog, loves giving kisses and giving and receiving affection. Dahlia will need some vet care for us to have a clear answer on her needs and we will then need to assess what needs to be done to give her quality of life, at that time she will be eligible for adoption. If you are interested in adopting her when she is ready please email nepabullies@gmail.com. Adoption application, reference check, home check required. Upon approval adoption fee and signed adoption contract required

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dahlia, a WARREN Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in WARREN, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in WARREN.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in WARREN already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a WARREN breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in WARREN paves the way for another one to be saved.
