My story

My name is Jeannie and I’m so happy to be here. Actually the one Volunteer thinks that my second name should be “happy”. I am one of those dogs who seems to always be smiling and wagging her tail. At 6 years old, I didn’t deserve to be an unclaimed stray; really, what were they thinking! My biggest wish is to discover what it feels like to PERMANENTLY belong with people who truly care about me. I am grateful that I have a safe place here at Animatch but I’ll be even more ecstatic and relieved to know that I’m living in the environment that I’ll be in for the rest of my life. Going on walks is one of my favorite things to do, besides getting lots of love from humans. You’d be passing up a terrific opportunity to find true love if you pass up the chance to get to know, and adopt me. Just give me a break and I’ll show you what an astounding dog I am. I’m long past puppyhood so I know the importance of a good home. I get along with other dogs and I’d be content with or without a doggy companion. So, whaddya say? Am I the one?
