My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sahara: 1 yr old female, white-mitted seal bicolor Ragdoll
Regular adoption fee: see below

Sahara has the softest, softest silky fur of any Ragdoll I have known. Bunny fur we call it. You have to pet her to understand. Her mom surrendered her to me due to her own health reasons and also to the constant health troubles of her other young male cat. Sahara, a happy energetic 1 yr old wanted to play and she was too full of energy for her more fragile companion.

She is a classic seal bicolor girl. Pink nose, big, round icy blue eyes, lush dark long tail, white feet, and a thick white ruff. She is just a baby and is still growing. She will continue to grow til her third year. Her body is long and slender now but typically she will fill out to be large as ragdolls are known to be. I call them comfort cats. A big armful of warm softness.

I just got her in (6/16) and I don't know her well yet. Her mom wrote a description of her and said she is" the sweetest most wonderful girl in the world". "Someone is going to be so very lucky "she said with a heart ache. Right now Sahara is a little unsettled to be suddenly in an unfamiliar place but she is adapting with good composure. I will take new photos when she has settled and has a less uncertain expression.

Her owner suggested she might like to be an only cat. She could also perhaps be a companion a medium sized dog or a large confidant cat who wanted to play and could hold his or her own with some energetic chase and tumble play sessions.

I will write more when I know her better.

She eats wet and dry and is litterbox perfect.

Her foster mom is Harriet in Santa Cruz.
