Loving dog needs experienced owner
Chesterfield was rescued from the Devore Shelter over a month ago and is currently in Boarding in Aguanga, Ca. He is ready for his forever home. He is about a year old, neutered and up to date with all his shots. He is believed to be Akita/Kishu mix. High energy boy who needs an calm and assertive owner. Great people dog, very friendly but would be better placed in a home with older children. He needs some basic obedience training and is currently being housed with another 'mentor' dog to help him get used to other dogs. About Our Rescue Group...
We specialize in rescuing Akitas , both purebred and mixes and from time to time other large breed dogs from high kill shelters, provide medical assistance if needed, assess them and find homes. We are truly the last resort for many dog that would otherwise be put to sleep. This is a act of kindness for those in most need & out of love for the dogs.

Our Adoption Process...
We have an adoption agreement and ask that you keep us informed of the dog's whereabouts if you move or relocate and also that you maintain updated contact information with our organization.
