Tiffany's Info...

I am already spayed, purebred, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, not good with kids, and good with dogs.

Tiffany's Story...
Tiffany is a 4 year old shih tzu who is sweet and sensitive; she was rescued along with 5 other dogs from a "back yard breeder" where she was living in her own excrement and never got to enjoy the sun on her face. She has really touched our hearts; all she needs is a few minutes and some patient TLC and she'll be your best friend for life. She's become very attached to her foster mommy in a short amount of time; because of her lack of socialization, new situations and strange people intimidate her so she will do best in a quiet home. She's so affectionate and wants so much to get special attention ... you can't help but fall in love with her. SHE IS EXTREMELY BONDED TO EMILIE SO THEY MUST BE ADOPTED TOGETHER. The adoption fee for Tiffany and Emilie is $350; they are spayed, microchipped and current on vaccinations.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tiffany, a Indianapolis Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Indianapolis, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Indianapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Indianapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Indianapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Indianapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
