found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with cats.
I will let the volunteer who rescued Miracle tell her story. Below is her facebook post:
The story of Thelma and Miracle:
As you all know last night my Aunt called me and said her granddaughter and her boyfriend had found a baby kitten in a dumpster. It was screaming so loud it drew they attention. When they arrived at the dumpster they found a Mama and babies tied in plastic bags and thrown in the dumpster. The boy climbed in and got out the baby that was still alive. When my aunt called I rushed to the store to get goats milk and some can food. When I arrived she had bath the little one and I could see that it was about 3 to 4 weeks old. I brought it home and fed it. It was very hungry and very vivacious. The little baby would purr when you rubbed it. She ate good and slept good. Everyone who heard this story knew that the baby should be named nothing else but Miracle. I went to FURR today to deliver some other kitties I had rescued a couple of weeks ago. I took the baby with me because it had to have constant attention. Little did I know Terry (the founder of FURR) had a Mama kitty who has just lost it babies. Her name is Thelma and she birthed 4 babies last week who where tied together with the umbilical cord and had died. The Mom had to have an emergency C- section because she still had a dead baby inside of her. When the doctor got in there she had an infected uterus and she was spayed. This Mommy had been through so much and was lucky to be alive. Terry has has her for a few days. She is feral and has been depressed so Terry was having to hand feed her to get her to eat anything. Well today Terry put baby Miracle in with Thelma and it was a match made in heaven. Miracle acted as though this was her mother and Thelma acted as though this was her baby. They snuggled and Thelma began to wash her. When it was meal time. Thelma and the baby ate together. They were so happy to have each other. Thelma still had some milk left and she let the baby nurse. Out of such devastation has come so much joy and love. The two were brought together by horrible circumstances and together had found love and happiness. I cannot tell you how happy Terry and I were as you will be when you read this story. I took lots of pictures and videos. Enjoy a wonderful day in kitty rescue.
