Brownie w/video!'s Story...
Brownie is a precious 1 ½ year old Dachshund. He is incredibly handsome and has a unique coloring. This boy’s good looks are just the beginning. He has a wonderful personality as well! Brownie is very smart and knows many commands already. He is eager to please and longs to learn more! Brownie gets along great with other dogs and would make a great second dog. He would do well as an only dog too. Brownie is a loving boy and is very endeared to his people. He is so sweet and just wants to be loved! Brownie is healthy, current on all vaccinations and has been spayed. He is currently in Louisiana but transport is available to the northeast at no additional charge. Please contact April at apr0227@msn.com if you would like to adopt Brownie! Thank you for saving a life! Each dog adopted means another life can be saved!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brownie w/video!, a Portsmouth Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Portsmouth, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Portsmouth.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portsmouth already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portsmouth breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portsmouth paves the way for another one to be saved.
