Willis's Story...
Little Willis was dumped on a country road in rural east Tennessee...so typical when there are no spay/neuter laws.

Willis is about 8 mo. old and we believe he is a dachshund/boston terrier mix. He is brown with some brindle coloring on his sides and head. He weighs aprx. 15 pounds. He is friendly and outgoing and loves playing with other dogs. He is a high energy boy so will need a home that will exercise him!
He has been neutered, is UTD on shots, HW negative and on preventative. He just needs someone to love him forever.

Willis is still in TN in foster care and will be transported north upon adoption via Alpha Dog transport. They charge $125 for their services and will hand off all his vet records when he is claimed.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Willis, a Providence Dachshund/Boston Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Boston Terrier for sale in Providence, or seeking a Dachshund/Boston Terrier dog from a breeder in Providence.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Providence already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Providence breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Boston Terrier breeders who help with Dachshund/Boston Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Providence paves the way for another one to be saved.
