Taken into Dogworks rescue from a rural Ohio kill shelter. Sammy stayed in the pound for as long as he could...No one came looking for him. Sammy is an adult 45 pound Retriever Mix. Veterinarian has placed his age at 2 1/2 years. Either Flat Coated or Golden Retriever mix male. We are learning about Sammy a friendly happy boy who starts out leery of human attention. Once he knows you won't hurt him he stays and doesn't mind receiving love, attention and cuddling. Still needs more confidence building. Adoption fee includes neuter, vaccine update, heartworm check, stool check with worming. Sammy is crate trained and sleeps through the night. Friendly with other dogs that are friendly to him, cats unknown.
