I am already neutered, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, and good with cats.
I am a brave but gentle cat. I'll gladly be your one-and-only, but if you have a big friendly gentleman cat who wants a friend, I would gladly come to your house to be a knight to the King Cat of your household. I love the big old cats here at The Owl House. I'm not above giving a smack to those females---SO annoying.
I am a "sit around the fire at the cigar club" kind of kitty. If you need some loving, quiet and amusing friendship this winter and ever after, come visit me soon!

The Owl House adopts rescued street cats and kittens to indoor-only homes within 2 hours of the Ithaca-Owego-Watkins Glen region of NYS. All cats are FeLV/FIV tested, vaccinated, spay/neutered, microchipped (HomeAgain), vet examined, and eligible for reduced-cost pet insurance (PetFirst). Please email us at info@americancat.net for more information. Tell us something about your home, and why you are looking for a cat!

Rescue Group Info...
Wildrun is a neighbors-helping-neighbors program assisting feral cats in the Spencer area of central NYS. As a free community service, we capture and neuter feral and barn cats, and find homes for tamed kittens and cats in colonies we manage.
We have a small adoption and care facility in Spencer, N.Y. Our pets are viewable by appointment on weekends. We are also very happy to share our set-up and experience with other people who are rescuing feral cats in the Finger Lakes regions of New York State!
The best way to reach us is via email, at info@americancat.net
We sometimes hold off-site adoption events at local bookstores and other locations where we can also education visitors about feral cats and the importance of spay/neuter.
Many of our cats and kittens are shy, but all are loving pets. They are more suitable for quiet homes than with playful children, although we do sometimes have bottle-raised, very friendly kittens for adoption who are fine with kids.
We ask that adopters make a $50 donation to the non-profit animal welfare organization of their choice, at the time of adoption. Your check, made out to that organization (not Wildrun), will be mailed to them in your name.
