MOJITO 9months's Story...
5/20/12 Mojito or Moji is now an 8 month old Weimaraner Lab mix female found in a crowded dog shelter. The shelter asked rescue for assistance since they were getting in more dogs than what they could house. Moji has a beautiful black short coat & golden eyes like a weimaraners. Intact, long tail.. We expect her adult weight to eventually reach 55-60 pounds full grown. This girl is typical of a happy, active, high energy weimaraner pup who needs a patient yet active family to bond with and learn from. She is willing to please & learns quickly. Fine with other dogs, cats unknown. House broke, needs work on leash walking. Large fenced yard best to help with exercise and burn off some energy. She will chase birds! Would make a wonderful companion to another playful energetic dog.... Spayed, vaccines up to date and wormed. Adoption fee $170. Application can be found on our website www.DogworksOhio.com or email DogworksOhio@aol.com .

Why Adoption is a Great Option

MOJITO 9months, a Oregon Weimaraner/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Weimaraner/Labrador Retriever for sale in Oregon, or seeking a Weimaraner/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Oregon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oregon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oregon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Weimaraner/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Weimaraner/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oregon paves the way for another one to be saved.
