Does your dog need a new best friend????  Then I am your man (or dog as the case may be)!

Hi my name is Judge. I'm an extremely sweet and cuddly guy, but I'm a little shy at first. I will snuggle with you if you’re sitting still on the couch or in bed or if I think you might share your sandwhich. I've been coming up to new people on my own to get loves but I will take a while to get comfortable with the people in your home, Me and my whole litter were abused prior to coming to live with my foster mommy so I'm understandably a little cautious.  I do not do anything bad in my fear but I do run and hide behind the other dogs. Speaking of other dogs, I am FABULOUS when it comes to dogs big and small. I love to play with them and I'm very lovey and snuggly with my foster mommy's big dogs. I’m looking for a home with at least one doggy friend for me to bond with and people that don’t mind that I'm probably going to be shy for a while.  In that home I will be potty and crate trained and I’m not much of a barker.  Does your home fit the bill for me?

About Animal Compassion Team of California

About Our Rescue Group...

The vision for ACT has been brewing in the minds of the Animal Compassion Team founders for many years. The paths we have walked have prepared us and tested our determination through hard work, buckets of tears, mountains of fecal matter (a favorite topic of discussion amongst animal rescuers), and more then our fair share of discouragement and heartbreak. Having said that, why would we choose to dive in deeper? For the love of the animals we serve. It is just that simple. Dogs, cats, and other wonderful animals are dying in huge numbers daily. We hope to help change that. In August of 2009 we became a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation with the state of California and the Federal Government. It was, and continues to be, a huge leap of faith for all of us who already feel overwhelmed by the work we are doing but we believe this is the time....this is what we have all been preparing for. One life saved makes all the effort and emotional investment worthwhile. This is going to be an exciting journey and we hope to post MANY happy endings. New animals arrive daily......stay tuned .....we have only just begun!

Our Mission Statement:

To provide a safe haven for domestic animals, regardless of breed or species, through rescue, rehabilitation, adoption and sanctuary. To advocate for the humane treatment of animals and promote the human-animal bond. To educate the public about the importance of kindness, compassion, and responsible pet ownership which will emphasize spaying and neutering. To cooperate and work with other animal rescues and shelters towards the goal of becoming a no-kill nation.
