King's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

King's Story...
Adopted!!! Thank you Floyce Reynolds for giving my wonderful King his forever home!
King has never met a person he didn't like. He loves meeting all new people, riding in the car or laying on your lap. He has the most luxurious coat that is soft and silky. He loves having his own crate and prefers that to a dog bed.

King originally was labeled a wanderer and was always getting out of his house - now he loves nothing more than to stay nearby his person. I never have to fear him wandering off now! He is loyal and devoted.

Since he is older, he prefers a quiet household, without a lot of other barking dogs. King also needs less frequent trips out to do potty than other poms, so is good at home for someone that works and is away for an 8 hour day.

I would estimate Kings weight to be 10 to 11 pounds but he is mostly fur! He was tested with a heart murmur but hasn't had any problems with me other than occasional coughing spells, which I give him vet prescribed cough medicine if the coughing lasts too long.

King is a wonderful gentlemen and would love to be pampered in a home where there are not too many competing pets and where he can be treated like a King. If interested in adopting King, please fill out an adoption application at www.pomposse.org or contact us if you would like to meet him.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

King, a Houston Pomeranian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian for sale in Houston, or seeking a Pomeranian dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian breeders who help with Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
