Shyla (**Courtesy Posting**)'s Story...
*********Courtesy Posting******************

My name is Shyla. I once had a home, but found myself alone. The world was very scary, and I wasn’t prepared. I became so emaciated that I weighed only 32 lbs. I now weigh 47lbs. I am a very small and petite German Shepherd mix, standing only 21 Inches tall at my shoulders.

My foster Mom decided I needed a place to believe in people again. I am such a home-body because it is something I missed so much. I love to play in the home with my toys, and only like a small 10 minute walk in the cool air. I am house trained and doggie-door trained. I also don't bother with anything in the home - I just wait until you return and am so excioted. I need to be an only dog, as I want my owner all to myself. See, I hadn’t had that kind of love I awhile …

Call my foster Mom directly at 602-558-0485 so we can meet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shyla (**Courtesy Posting**), a Mesa German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Mesa, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Mesa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mesa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mesa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mesa paves the way for another one to be saved.
