Little tucker's Story...
Meet Little Tucker! Absolutely the cutest thing you will see all day! Tucker is in need of a family all his own. He was found under a car at the local junk yard. It was raining hard and a man that works at the junk yard heard him crying. He was cold and very hungry. The man looked around for a momma and more kittens but never found them. Tucker is currently in the care of one of our volunteers, she estimates that he is about 4 weeks old, he is starting to eat solid food but still needs the bottle for another week or so. He is just starting to use the litter box. He won't be ready for adoption for a few more weeks but if you'd like to include this bundle of joy in your family, please give us a call!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Little tucker, a Colville Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Colville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Colville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colville paves the way for another one to be saved.
