Dallas's Story...
Hi I’m Dallas! I sure am lucky. I was dumped off with my siblings and not only were we starving, covered in fleas and worms- but we were scared. So we crawled up in a car engine to keep safe- but that wasn’t such a good idea! Thank goodness the good people at A4A saved our life. We were really in great need. But now we are happy, healthy and full of lots of love! (My siblings are James and Kira). I am a short hair adorable black and white kitty. I love to snuggle, play, to be held and I just love to be loved. I’m in search of a loving forever home. I do great with everyone! I am approx.. 8 weeks old as of the end of June 2012. I am now neutered, vaccinated, tested for FeLv and I am dewormed and housetrained/litterbox trained.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dallas, a Xenia Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Xenia, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Xenia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Xenia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Xenia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Xenia paves the way for another one to be saved.
