Herra's Story...
Penny is a 2 year old German Shepherd Dog that has a gentle nature, but has had very little training or socialization. After two litters of puppies even at her young age she has been left behind by her family and now needs a new home.

A stable home with a firm but gentle owner would be heaven for Penny. She can be a bit shy and needs to gain some confidennce. Her owner must be willing to train her properly - for which she is willing. She seems fine around kids, but older respectful children would be best.

Do you have room in your heart for this beautiful Diamond in the Rough? With minimal but consistent effort this gorgeous girl will make a loyal and loving companion.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Herra, a Vista German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Vista, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Vista.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vista already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vista breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vista paves the way for another one to be saved.
