Jeremy's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Jeremy's Story...
Jeremy is a 1 ½ year old, sweet, 10 lb shih tzu. We rescued him from a high kill shelter in the nick of time! He was very afraid and appeared unfriendly. We went into his kennel and picked him up with no trouble. He was covered in fleas and mats but glad for some kindness. He is now a handsome, healthy neutered young man looking for his forever home. He is housetrained and gets along with other dogs and cats. Jeremy prefers women but would warm up to a kind man also. We would prefer a home without small children for Jeremy. If you are a MA adopter, please contact the rescue group about adoption in your state. LM

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jeremy, a Foster Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Foster, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Foster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Foster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Foster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Foster paves the way for another one to be saved.
