Barney's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Barney's Story...
Barney, a Beagle X Basset blend, known as a Bagel, ended up in a rural Riverside county shelter through no fault of his own. Our Vet estimates his age at around 8 years. He weighs a good 34-lbs and is at his ideal weight. Barney is neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped and has had a nice refreshing dental and a couple of fatty tumors removed.

Barney loves his walks and yet can also hang out. If you want a loving, happy companion then barney is for you. Barney is a great family dog, or even a great companion dog for an active senior!!

Barney will be at our regular PetCO store location at 1824 East Katella Avenue Orange, CA 92867 (714) 289-1400 on Saturday, October 6th from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. if you would like to come by and say “hello”

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Barney, a Orange Beagle/Basset Hound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Basset Hound for sale in Orange, or seeking a Beagle/Basset Hound dog from a breeder in Orange.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Orange already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Orange breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Basset Hound breeders who help with Beagle/Basset Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Orange paves the way for another one to be saved.
