Coquine is curious, energetic, intelligent, and lively. She was found by one of our volunteers during a block party. She was sitting right in the middle of the street with a lost look on her face. Coquine likes to cuddle, especially in the morning. She likes spending time with humans, especially men. She doesn't like to be picked up but will sometimes affectionately jump up into your lap. She needs to play several times a day, alone and with you. She has a big appetite so you might want to keep an eye on how much she's eating. Coquine likes to survey her surroundings from high-up places and uses a scratching post.

We hold adoption days every other Sunday at the Marcel-Giroux community center at 4501 Bannantyne Street in Verdun from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The next adoption days are:
July 8, 2012 July 22, 2012

September 9 & 23, 2012
October 14 & 28, 2012
November 11 & 25, 2012
December 9 & 16, 2012
All our cats are in foster homes and people who wish to adopt one can make an appointment to visit the cat at the home or come to the adoption days. All cats have been seen by a veterinarian, vaccinated and sterilized. The fee is $160 and includes sterilization of kittens when they reach five to six months of age. Adopting families sign a contract and if they already have other cats, these cats must be sterilized.
We serve Verdun and surrounding areas such as Ville- Emard, Côte St- Paul, St- Henri, Pointe St-Charles, Lasalle and Lachine.
