Peeta & Katniss's Story...
We'll play, but not 'The Hunger Games'

Peeta and Katniss were abandoned inside Paws's side door. Peeta was found wandering around the medical room and Katniss was found wandering in the dog playroom on the other side of the shelter.
Peeta is the male, orange tabby and Katniss is the female Siamese. They are about the same age, 9 months, so it's possible they are siblings, but we don't really know. What we do know is that they are absolute loves. Playful, outgoing, curious, affectionate, and the list goes on. Peeta likes to be held and cuddled while Katniss is the more squirmy one.

These two 'teens' are great with other cats and would be excellent family pets. They would do well in an active home and/or with children. We don't know how they would do with dogs, but because of their friendly, outgoing nature, they probably would do quite well with a cat-friendly dog.

Peeta is neutered and Katniss is spayed. Both have been micro-chipped, are current on all their vaccinations and have tested negative for FIV and FeLV.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peeta & Katniss, a Norwalk Siamese cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siamese for sale in Norwalk, or seeking a Siamese cat from a breeder in Norwalk.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Norwalk already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Norwalk breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siamese breeders who help with Siamese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Norwalk paves the way for another one to be saved.
