Labrador Retriever/Hound Mix

This handsome young fellow is at our local shelter awaiting foster space. He is very mellow and very sweet and just as beautiful as can be.....aprox 7 months old fully vetted and just waiting to be sprung!! More info to come soon!!

Duke is now out of the shelter and in foster care and ready to go :)) Typical lab mix traits....LOVES to jump in the kiddie pool :) and play with toys and LOVESSSSSS other dogs!!! AWESOME with my grandkids......however my 1 1/2 yr old grandson would beg to differ, since it is HE that gets kissed in the face a thousand times by Duke trying to play with him :)) DUKE will be arriving in WESPORT CT this friday evening and then on to NORWALK CT for fostering :) If you would like to arrange a meeting with him, please call (203) 952 8741 and talk to Leslie :))

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Duke, a Norwalk Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Norwalk, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Norwalk.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Norwalk already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Norwalk breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Norwalk paves the way for another one to be saved.
