Blossom's Story...
Blossom doesn't have a serious bone in her body until we bring a camera out! She's totally perplexed by the black box and will only give us her "concerned" look! This little dog is absolutely a joy. She's estimated to be four years old by the vet but seems younger. She's ten pounds and a very healthy young lady. Blossom is house trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and enjoys other animals. She's sharing a foster home with a 85 pound golden, an indifferent male shih tzu, and a bossy senior terrier. She also interacts daily with five cats and her best buddy is Pea, a four pound white Persian. Blossom is perfectly responsive to her human. She comes when called, even outdoors with all the distractions. She loves the dog park and has a blast running and acting goofy. Did I mention she ADORES her caretaker? Wherever you go, that's exactly where she'll be. Someone will be VERY lucky to have Blossom as their best friend. To see more video, photos, and learn more, please email INFO@FORrescue.net . Blossom is fostered in Huntsville, AL

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Blossom, a Carlisle Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Carlisle, or seeking a Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Carlisle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Carlisle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Carlisle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Carlisle paves the way for another one to be saved.
