Husky's Story...
Hi, I'm Husky. I'm a little kitten, not a dog, but my foster mom says my markings remind her of some Siberian Husky dogs - thus, my "dog" name. My coat is unusually plush-- silvery grey in parts and pure white in others. I have very symmetrical, beautiful markings. My eyes are a very pale green color. I'm a mellow kitten-- I am so happy when I can stretch out and cuddle with my human companions on the couch and purr. I love to play with toys and am quite skilled at pouncing on dangling toys.
My foster brother kitten Brody and I love to play chase, pounce on each other, and wrestle. I'd love to be adopted with Brody, or another fun feline friend.

Husky's estimated date of birth is 3/28/12 and his adoption fee of $135 includes: vet exam, Felv/FIV test (neg), FVRCP (distemper combo) vaccination, deworming, microchip and neuter.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Husky, a Mt. Prospect Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Mt. Prospect, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Mt. Prospect.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mt. Prospect already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mt. Prospect breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mt. Prospect paves the way for another one to be saved.
