Apache's Story...
Please contact Re- home for more information about this pet.

This animal is posted as a rehome, which is a service outside of Cat's Cradle to help owners find new homes for their animals.  If interested, contact Jessica Lantz at jcelestekearns@gmail.com or (540) 249-3264.

Apache is a 12-year-old, spayed female, Domestic Short hair, Tortoiseshell with white.

Apache is a mellow older cat looking for a home to spend the rest of her life in. She likes to hang out in one spot for long periods of time and relax in the sun. She likes humans and will go through spells of time where she is very loving. She might take a while to warm up to a new place, but when she does, boy is she a great cat.  She loves attention, but doesn't like to to be picked up very much. Apache would make a great cat for almost any home. She would be best in a home as the only cat, although she is very close to her friend Zeus, and would de well in a house with him. She is an indoor only kitty that loves to be pampered. Please consider adopting Apache.

Rescue Group Info...

About Our Rescue Group...
Founded in 1998, Cat’s Cradle seeks to end euthanasia of healthy adoptable cats and dogs in Shenandoah Valley through aggressive spay/neuter of owned animals and TNR (trap/neuter/release) of feral cats.

We also have a network of foster parents and an active adoption program for cats. In 2009 we opened an adoption center in Harrisonburg. We do not euthanize for space.

Please visit our website at: www.catscradleva.org for more information.

Come Meet Our Pets...
We show our cats at PetSmart in Springfield, VA on most 1st and 3rd Saturdays, at the PetSmart in Harrisonburg, VA on some Saturdays and some Sunday afternoons, and at the Petsmart in Waynesboro on Saturdays. We also show cats at our adoption center at 124 S Main St. in Harrisonburg 11-6 M-F, and 11-5 Sat and 11-4 Sunday.

Please visit our website: www.catscradleva.org for other adoption events and hours for showings or call the adoption center at 540-433-1135.

Our Adoption Process...
Please see our website: www.catscradleva.org for a copy of our adoption application and adoption contract. Adoption fees vary, but generally run around $135.

All our cats are spayed or neutered before adoption, and fully vetted. We have an adoption center in Harrisonburg, but we also make extensive use of foster homes until adoption.

We generally prefer indoor only homes, and our contract specifies that the cat(s) will not be de-clawed.

We have some cats that cannot be adopted into an indoor situation. For these, we seek safe barn or out-building locations.

We Serve the Following Cities, Towns, and/or Counties...
Augusta, Page, Rockingham and Shenandoah Counties in Virginia.
