My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sky is the first dog we have fostered and I must say she is the most wonderful, well manered dog we could ask for.
She loves to play like a pup and adores her walks in the neighborhood. She is social with everybody she meets and loves kids. She is great with other pets, we have a cat, dog. Shy currently weighs just under 50 lbs and is approximately 3 – 4 years old.

Here is what else Sky’s foster mom had to say about her:

Skys energy level is moderate. She likes to be active but if you sit down, she’ll sit and lay down at your feet. Sky is a quiet dog. I have only heard her bark a few times in the week I’ve had her. Sky’s favourite thing to do is lay in our pond. You’ll hear a big splash and there she is, laying or sitting in the pond water with a guilty expression. Well she doesnt like to be bathed but will let you without even a whimper. Sky’s shedding is moderate, she likes to be brushed and will sit and allow you to do this.

Sky has learned many commands, she knows how to sit, lay down, will stay for about 20 seconds, and we believe she could be trained easily. Sky is crate trained, she sleeps in her crate without any problems, and when she’s in trouble she will go to her crate and come out only when she thinks you are not mad at her anymore. She goes in her cratre at night from approximitly 11.00 p.m-8a.m. and does not make a sound.

Sky is leash trained but she does pull and needs someone to train her to walk better. You should not let go of her leash because she will RUN, so thats when you’ll find out if your in good shape! She does not try to escape unless you let go of her leash and she never trys to bolt out the door. Sky’s house manners are amazing. She has never stolen food and has never chewed anything.

Sky’s appearence is adorable. She almost looks like a wolf but does not act like one. She has beautiful blue eyes and a nice coat. She would be good with a big back yard and would make a great pet for someone who will love her.

If you think Sky would be a good choice for your family, please submit an application to http://www.uglymutts.com for consideration.
