Knox's Story...
Knox is a social and goofy girl who loves to play and cuddle. She loves to be outside, enjoys going for walks, and is then content to snuggle with her humans. She can show a stubborn side so needs a leader who will keep her focused on the training provided in her foster home. She needs access to appropriate chew toys. She does show a burst of energy when she comes out of her crate but calms quickly with direction.

Knox does well with other dogs. She likes to play with other dogs and reads their cues well and backs off without direction. She is curious about cats in her foster home but is respectful and easy going with the felines.

Knox is a female/sp American Bulldog mix born ~January 2012. She weighs 55-60 pounds and is crate trained and housebroken.

For additional information, please email info@youluckydogrescue.org. Our adoption fee is $250 and includes all age appropriate vaccines, spay or neuter and microchipping. We are located in the metro Atlanta area. We currently do not allow out of state adoptions.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Knox, a Alpharetta American Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Bulldog for sale in Alpharetta, or seeking a American Bulldog dog from a breeder in Alpharetta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Alpharetta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Alpharetta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Bulldog breeders who help with American Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Alpharetta paves the way for another one to be saved.
