Knox's Story...
Knox is a social and goofy girl and such a love! She loves to give kisses and get belly rubs or ear rubs. She wants to be right where her people are, just in case she misses something fun! Knox is great with other dogs, especially if they are goofy and have puppy energy like she does. She is also doing well in a foster home with four cats (ages 8 months to 14 years old). She has been a good girl with children over the age of five and would likely do well in a home with children. She enjoys hanging out in the sunshine and loves to chase her deflated football across the yard with such reckless abandon that sometimes she forgets to stop running! She is a joy in her foster home. Knox has had professional training and is a star on leash and hold "place" like a champ.

Knox is a female/sp American Bulldog mix born ~January 2012. She weighs 55-60 pounds and is crate trained and housebroken.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Knox, a Alpharetta American Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Bulldog for sale in Alpharetta, or seeking a American Bulldog dog from a breeder in Alpharetta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Alpharetta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Alpharetta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Bulldog breeders who help with American Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Alpharetta paves the way for another one to be saved.
