Rocky II's Story...
Rocky was rescued from the streets by a good samaritan who took him in. He lived with other dogs, cats and a small child at her home, but she could no longer keep him, so Rocky was moved to her uncle’s backyard and stayed there all by himself for several months until Forte took him in. Since then, Rocky has been working with our trainer and learned many commands that include: sit, down, stay, heel, and come. His trainer will provide you with two free sessions if you adopt him. Rocky is currently staying at a cagefree boarding, but he really need a home where he is welcomed inside as part of the family! Once he bonds with you, he will become your most loyal companion.

If you are interested in meeting Rocky, please download the Adoption Questionnaire, fill it out and fax it back to us at (310) 362-0321. You can also meet this and/or other available dogs at our Saturday Adoptions at Centinela Feed.

[Rocky is 5-6 years old and about 55 lbs.]

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rocky II, a Marina del Rey German Shepherd Dog/Belgian Malinois dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Belgian Malinois for sale in Marina del Rey, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Belgian Malinois dog from a breeder in Marina del Rey.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marina del Rey already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marina del Rey breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Belgian Malinois breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Belgian Malinois rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marina del Rey paves the way for another one to be saved.
