My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Crosby is a very Large, Stunning, Male German Shepherd and is approximately 4-6 years old. Crosby is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, flea, tick, heartworm prevention and will be microchipped.

Crosby was rescued out of a high kill shelter, he was originally picked up as a stray so we do not have any history on him. He is heartworm positive and we are treating him via our slow kill protocol and will provide information along with meds to go home to the adopter. He does not need to be restricted and should be retested every 6 months until he is testing negative for heartworms.

Since Crosby has been in foster care we feel he would do best in a home where he can be the only dog or be around a dog that won't challenge him in anyway. Not sure how he would be around cats. Crosby is great with people, extremely laid back, lazy, very sweet, and walks excellent on a leash despite his massive size. He also prefers being inside all the time to just chill out and chew on a bone. He has a slight fold to one of his ears which makes him look more endearing. Crosby is afraid of loud thundar and fire works and tends to panic a bit but is fine if he is near someone and or we reccommend using a Thunder Shirt or Anxiety wrap for him because they make him feel more secure.
