Ian's Story...
Ian is also one of a litter of 6 puppies that were abandoned at a local vet clinic. He is about 7 weeks old (as of 6/19) and loves to play! Spunky little Ian is the bravest and boldest of his siblings. He is the only one daring enough to challenge the much bigger heeler puppies to a game of tug-o-war or a wrestling match. He is also the most outspoken at feeding time (he's learned that the squeaky wheel gets the grease!) He is a pretty independent guy and would much rather be playing with a toy or chasing you around in the yard than snuggling in your lap; although, with all that exercise he crashes hard and sleeps quietly all night long. Ian should be available for adoption on 6/30!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ian, a Arlington Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Arlington, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Arlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Arlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Arlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Arlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
