Lewis's Story...
Lewis is one of a litter of 6 puppies that were also abandoned at a local vet clinic. He is about 11 weeks old (as of 7/15). Precious Lewis is a sweet, mellow little guy. He is very playful with his siblings, but he loves his people and enjoys cuddling up in your lap and spending quality time with you. He loves rolling around in the grass with his buddy Wash, but will quickly retreat and run to you squealing if one of the big puppies bullies him too much. At the end of the day there's nothing better than falling asleep on your feet. He'll make an excellent addition to any family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lewis, a Arlington Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Arlington, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Arlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Arlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Arlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Arlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
