Nelly's Story...
Nelly is the only girl in a litter of 6 puppies that were abandoned at a local vet clinic. She is about 11 weeks old (as of 7/15). Rather than romping around in the yard, Nelly loves to curl up in your lap or on her cushy bed. Sweet Nelly is one of the smallest of her litter and the only girl! She does pretty well holding her own with all these rowdy boys and will gladly tell them off if they try to mess with her too much. She's a sweet little thing and is the perfect balance between playful and cuddly. She loves to tug on the hem of my pants when I'm walking around the yard and she likes to roll around in the grass and chase bugs, but she also loves to curl up in your lap for a nap and some cuddle time when playtime is over. Like her siblings, she is also doing well sleeping through the night and using puppy pads when she's in her pen.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nelly, a Arlington Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Arlington, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Arlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Arlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Arlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Arlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
