Max's Story...
Hello, my name is Max. They keep calling me the "love bug!" I don't resemble a bug so I don't know why I have that name, but I do love being at Wild Dog! When Wild Dog rescued me I was a mess, I was covered in mats and filthy! They got me groomed and I feel great now! One of the things I love best is people. I love it when you pet me, and if you stop I will politely nudge your hand to continue. But don't worry, once you pet me and my soft fur you won't stop! I would love to just be with you and spend time with you. I am up for a game of fetch or a leisurely walk through a park. Maybe you want to sit and relax, I am okay with that, just be sure to pet me. So come and check me out in person, I promise you will love me!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Max, a Fennville Golden Retriever/Chow Chow dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Chow Chow for sale in Fennville, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Chow Chow dog from a breeder in Fennville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fennville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fennville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Chow Chow breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Chow Chow rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fennville paves the way for another one to be saved.
