"HI, my name is Marshmellow. My sister, Oreo and I are very gentle and easy going. We are a little shy when you first meet us but true love bugs. We purr loudly. We'd prefer to be adopted together so we have one another to play with but we can be adopted separently. Please call the shelter or our foster Mom, Kaitlyn to schedule an appt to meet us: 772-626-5005."

About Our Shelter...
The Hobe Sound Animal Protection League is a non profit 501 (c) (3), no-kill, feline rescue group. HSAPL uses the TNR Program (trap, neuter, return or re-home) with cats that have been abandoned. We have found this to be the most humane method of controlling the overpopulation of homeless cats in this country.

With your support our organization has made vast strides toward educating the residents on the treasure coast about the humane choices they can make to help in the battle against overpopulation of unwanted pets. We salute you, and we promise to continue with our work throughout the coming years.

Our sanctuary at Caring Fields in Palm City, Florida is currently housing many cats that are adoptable. We also house non-adoptable cats who are not fully socialized or have disabilities that may prevent them from finding "forever" homes.

We are extremely proud of our very successful track record with the TNR Program. Since 2001 we have spayed and neutered over 600 cats in various colonies in Martin County, but there is still lots of work to be done.

Come Meet Our Pets...
HSAPL has expanded our foster and adoption programs. We now have a number of very adoptable cats and kittens who remain in foster care until they are able to find permanent homes. Please call us for more information regarding available cats or visit us every Saturday from 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm at our booth at PetSmart, located on US 1 in Jensen Beach, Florida.
Our Adoption Process...
We require our adopters to fill out a questionnaire, sign a contract and pay a fee of $65.
We Serve the Following Cities, Towns, and/or Counties...
Hobe Sound, Stuart, Palm CIty, Port St. Lucie, Jensen Beach, Jupiter, Tequesta, Ft. Pierce
