I am already neutered, housetrained, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.
Cats Cradle Rescue animals are spayed or neutered and have received at least one vaccination before they are placed up for adoption. Kittens receive two vaccinations. Each animal lives in a foster home as part of the family.
Richmond was born in March of 2012 (black kitten shown here with his tortie mama Ginny) he is an absolutely sweet, adorable boy who has quite the playful cattitude. He is very active and curious, but also very loving. He likes to check out anything new in his environment and especially likes to sleep with you, or purrrrfurably ON you!
He is special needs only in the fact that he has tested positive for feline leukemia, meaning that if he comes in contact with another cat he could infect them. He would need to be the only cat or live with another positive feline leukemia cat. Contact Phyllis at 805-649-6913 for more information if interested.

Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.
Cats Cradle Rescue requires an adoption application and contract with each animal. Our adoption fee covers Feline Leukemia and Feline Immuno Virus testing, first year's shots, spay/neuter and microchip. We also send you home with a collar, CCR tag and a bag of food.

Rescue Group Info...
We are an all volunteer run, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to helping homeless cats and kittens in Ventura County. We help abandoned and unwanted animals find wonderful, new, forever homes by taking them in, getting them any needed medical care, loving them and raising them to be loving pets, then adopting them out at one of our three adoption sites. We will take in nursing or pregnant cats, newborn motherless kittens, older kittens and in some cases homeless adults cats.
We are always looking for new volunteers to help out at adoptions as well as foster animals. There are always more animals in need of care than foster homes. Cats Cradle will supply food and litter, you supply the love! Please call or email if you are interested in helping out.
We hold adoptions every Saturday and Sunday at our Ventura Thrift Store 11 to 5 and Saturdays at PetCo in Camarillo in the Target shopping center off of Las Posas Rd.
We have a great selection of kittens & cats!
In order to adopt a cat or kitten, you need to come to one of our adoption locations, fill out a short 2 page application and pick out the kitty of your dreams! Our adoption fee is $125 and includes the spay or neuter of your new pet as well as all three sets of kitten shots, a microchip ID and registration with a national database, leukemia testing, flea control, deworming, a collar and a tag.
Cats Cradle Rescue serves all of Ventura County by rescuing and finding loving new homes for cats from Thousand Oaks to Ventura, Camarillo to Ojai and beyond!
