Gracie's Story...
Gracie 3 or 4 yr old. She was brought in mid April with another female Chow/lab/terrier mix and one of their puppies. She and the other female Chowmix were pregnant many times in the past few years and often not fed or cared for, and sometimes beaten by their neglectful owner. They have finally been picked up and brought to this city shelter where they will be spayed and hopefully adopted by nice people who will love them. This smart girl is very friendly and loyal despite previous mistreatment. She deserves a good loving home after everything she has experienced. If you would like to meet this beauty contact Megan at 520-227-7924 or Judy at 520-678-5783. All dogs do not have rabies shots which is included in adoption fee. However all are vaccinated against Parvo while in the shelter.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gracie, a Bisbee Chow Chow/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chow Chow/Labrador Retriever for sale in Bisbee, or seeking a Chow Chow/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Bisbee.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bisbee already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bisbee breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chow Chow/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Chow Chow/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bisbee paves the way for another one to be saved.
