Stromboli's Story...
Stromboli is a male, un-neutered, Newfoundland mix puppy, 5 to 6 months old. He's a very handsome fellow with an extremely soft and cuddly black & white
coat, that will require some regular brushing, happy dancing eyes and a goofy smile. If you have some kids and need a summer pastime that will keep them occupied for hours and close to home you might consider adding this fellow to the mix. He is a fun, furry, four footed bundled of exuberance and joy. Newfoundlands are reputed to be laid back and mellow with gentle temperaments, good intelligence and easily trained. They are a giant breed weight from 100 to 150 lbs and are considered a "workhorse" so Stromboli will do well with a job or two. Stromboli loves to play; he has a tenancy to jump up but drops to all fours quickly and though a bit mouthy (puppy) seems to use a soft mouth. If you think Stromboli might be a fit for your family we invite you all down for some playtime. If not claimed he will be ready for a new home June 29th after 6pm.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Stromboli, a Meridian Newfoundland puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Newfoundland for sale in Meridian, or seeking a Newfoundland puppy from a breeder in Meridian.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Meridian already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Meridian breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Newfoundland breeders who help with Newfoundland rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Meridian paves the way for another one to be saved.
