Shy Shy's Story...
Hi my name is Shy Shy. I am a stunning, happy go lucky 2 year old Siberian Husky who is smilling my way into find my forever home. I was rescued from the Jacksonville ACPS as I was surrendered by my owners as their young son becomae allergic to me and all of a sudden it was "ditch the dog." It was a very sad day when I was surrendered to the Jax ACPS as I truly loved my family and I thought they loved me too. But then things began to look up for me when Paws 4 Humanity came to the Jax ACPS to rescue me and then while they were at the shelter rescued a stray husky named Rae Rae that was brought into the Jax ACPS as well (also up for adoption).

I'll have to say I am really enjoy my foster home as I have many other Siberian Husky playmates to play with. You could say that all of us huskies have become quite the tight knit sled team. My favorite husky friend is handsom Carter, but I get along well with all of the huskies. I am also quite a talker and could be considered the clown of the group. Wherever there is comedy in the household, you will find me.

Well now that I have settled into my foster home it is time to find my forever home. If you are intersted in adopting a stunning, good looking female husky (yours truly) that will talk and carry on a conversation with you, please contact Paws 4 Humanity Inc at 904 771-9516 or email at paws4humanity@att.net to request an adoption application which is the first step in their adoption process. Once your adoption application is approved you will then be able to me yours truly, and hopefully make that awesome connection needed to bring me home. I am so deserving of a forever family after my first family surrendered me to the Jax ACPS shelter. I am truly the Siberian Husky with the personality and smile that will truly melt your heart away. I hope to meet you soon! Love and kisses - Shy Shy.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shy Shy, a Orange Park Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky for sale in Orange Park, or seeking a Husky dog from a breeder in Orange Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Orange Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Orange Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky breeders who help with Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Orange Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
